Music

At Bayside Academy, students have the option to learn instrumental music in 6-8 grade by either enrolling in Beginning Band or Beginning Strings. These classes meet every day. Bayside also offers a more advanced class for each that is only open to 7-8 grade. In order for students to enroll in Concert Band or Chamber Orchestra, they must have taken one year of the beginning class or have prior instrumental experience.

 Violin, Viola, Cello, String Bass

Bayside Academy also offers a 6th grade general music program as part of our 6th grade wheel. In the wheel program, students are involved in a fun and engaging music class for one trimester. Throughout the trimester, students get the opportunity to explore many aspects of music instruction that challenge and encourage positive music appreciation.
